Instrumented Impact Hammer IH-10 - 10kN Range
The IH-10 is a general-purpose instrumented impact hammer designed for structural health testing, resonance determination and modal analysis on heavy-sized components. With an integrated IEPE piezoelectric force sensor and direct voltage output, it is supplied as a complete kit with interchangeable tips to support a wide range of test conditions.
Description
The IH-10 is a general-purpose instrumented impact hammer designed for structural health testing, resonance determination and modal analysis. Rated for higher force excitation, it is well-suited to testing heavy components where controlled, repeatable impacts are required.
The hammer incorporates an internal IEPE piezoelectric force sensor that outputs a voltage signal directly. Each IH-10 is supplied as a complete kit, including a cable and a selection of interchangeable tips to suit different materials, structures and testing requirements.
The IH-10 features a BNC terminating connector. Impact pulse width and frequency response vary depending on the hammer head and tip configuration used, and should be selected and verified based on actual test conditions.
