Sustainable solutions for your testing equipment

We are proud to lead the way with our green approach to cable recycling. Over time, users often accumulate broken or damaged cables but feel compelled to buy new ones because other suppliers refuse to offer repair services. At DJB, we believe in a more sustainable solution.

As most connectors (such as 10-32UNF microdot, BNC, etc.) are standardised, DJB can provide a test-and-repair service for nearly any cable from any supplier. Many cable failures are caused by damage or wear to connectors. By simply removing and refitting a new connector, your cable is restored to full functionality at a fraction of the cost, with minimal reduction in usable cable length.

Did you know? The jacket and insulator of most signal cables are often made from PTFE, a material that can be toxic during decomposition. Repairing your cables is a kinder, more environmentally friendly option.

Our in-house cable repair service ensures your readings remain accurate, and each cable you use has a clean bill of health. Don’t forget to take advantage of our cable inspection scheme. It’s the perfect way to assess the health of your cables and determine the best path forward.

Are you confident that your current cables are performing at their best without compromising the quality of your data? With our inspection service, you can rest assured that your cables are functioning optimally, supporting peak performance in your testing and measurement activities.
