Instrumented Impact Hammer IH-05 - 5kN Range
The IH-05 is a general-purpose instrumented impact hammer designed for structural health testing, resonance determination and modal analysis on medium-sized structures. Featuring an integrated IEPE piezoelectric force sensor, it provides a direct voltage output and is supplied as a complete kit with interchangeable tips to support a wide range of test conditions.
Description
The IH-05 is a general-purpose instrumented impact hammer designed for structural health testing, resonance determination and modal analysis. With a force range suited to medium-sized structures, it provides controlled excitation for reliable vibration and modal measurements.
The hammer incorporates an internal IEPE piezoelectric force sensor that outputs a voltage signal directly. Each IH-05 is supplied as a complete kit, including a cable and a selection of interchangeable tips to suit different materials, structures and testing requirements.
The IH-05 features a BNC terminating connector and an optional additional mass that can be attached to the rear of the hammer head. Impact pulse width and frequency response vary depending on the hammer head configuration and tip selection, and should be verified based on actual test conditions.
