DJB’s IH Series Impact Hammers provide a reliable and precise method for structural testing, offering a range of seven hammers from 50N to 50,000N. Designed for engineers conducting modal analysis, resonance detection, and structural health monitoring, these hammers deliver accurate force measurements for comprehensive impact testing.

High-performance IEPE Impact Hammers

Each hammer in the IH Series features an integrated IEPE force transducer, ensuring seamless connection to analysis systems or voltage source instrumentation. The rugged built-in force sensor measures the amplitude of the energy imparted to a test object, helping engineers assess critical mechanical properties.

Supplied with a variety of interchangeable tips, these hammers allow the energy content of each impact to be adjusted to suit different testing requirements. When used alongside DJB’s accelerometers, they enable full-response data capture, providing valuable insights into mode shapes, transfer characteristics, and potential structural weaknesses such as cracks or fatigue.
