Piezo-Tronic Triaxial IEPE Accelerometer - AT/14

The AT/14 is a lightweight triaxial IEPE (voltage output) accelerometer designed for general-purpose vibration measurement in demanding test environments. Built around DJB’s Konic Shear® sensing technology with three orthogonal sensing elements in a welded titanium block, it supports simplified installation via a ¼-28 UNF 4-pin connector with BNC breakout leads.

Description

The AT/14 is a lightweight triaxial IEPE (voltage output) accelerometer designed for general-purpose vibration measurement in demanding test environments. It comprises three voltage output piezoelectric sensing elements mounted orthogonally within a welded titanium block, using DJB’s unique Konic Shear® sensing technology to support rugged and repeatable triaxial measurement.

The AT/14 may be considered as an alternative to the A/131 or A/134. The latter, by virtue of being a grouping of single-axis devices, are repairable and the physical separation of the cable leads provides visible signal axis traceability.

Key specifications

  • Sensitivity range: 1 mV/g to 200 mV/g
  • Weight: 13–16.6 g (variant dependent)
  • Temperature range: -55°C to 125°C

Model variations

  • AT/14
  • AT/14/TB
  • ATI/14/TB

Design and construction

The AT/14 is a general-purpose triaxial IEPE accelerometer comprising three voltage output piezoelectric sensing elements mounted orthogonally within a welded titanium block. The design is based on DJB’s Konic Shear® sensing technology and is intended to provide robust performance in automotive and aerospace test environments.

Using an industry-standard ¼-28 UNF 4-pin connector, the AT/14 can be supplied with ruggedised single-cable assemblies and three BNC-labelled breakout leads for straightforward installation and channel identification.
