Piezo-Tronic IEPE Accelerometer - A/120/V

The A/120/V range is a general-purpose IEPE (voltage output) accelerometer family designed for vibration testing and monitoring across a wide range of applications. Using DJB’s Konic Shear® sensing technology, A/120 variants offer broad sensitivity options within a consistent sensor body and can interface with common analysers and data acquisition systems via standard IEPE signal conditioning.

Description

The A/120/V range is a general-purpose IEPE (voltage output) accelerometer family designed for vibration testing and monitoring across a wide range of applications. Using DJB’s technically superior Konic Shear® piezoelectric sensing technology, the A/120 range offers a wide selection of mounting options, connectors and sensitivities within a consistent accelerometer body.

With output options from 10 mV/g up to 1 V/g, the A/120/V range is well suited to applications ranging from vibration shaker control and delicate testing through to industrial machine monitoring. Using a range of IEPE signal conditioning levels, the A/120 can interface with many commercially available vibration spectrum analysers and data acquisition systems, as well as DJB’s VB/01, VB/02 and CV9 signal conditioners, which provide normalising and amplification options.

Design and construction

The A/120/V range uses DJB’s Konic Shear® piezoelectric ceramic sensor design to support stable measurement performance and reduced cross-axis effects over time. A wide choice of mounting styles, connector types and sensitivity options allows the A/120 to be configured to suit your application, test environment and instrumentation setup.

The accelerometers are designed to work with standard IEPE signal conditioning so they can be used with a wide range of vibration analysers and data acquisition systems. DJB signal conditioners such as VB/01, VB/02 and CV9 can also be used where normalising and amplification options are required.
