What to expect at the Beran Conference 2026

19 Jun 2026

Technical insight, live demos and factory access

Beran Conference 2026 will bring attendees to Beran HQ for two days of technical insight, live demonstrations, factory tours and face-to-face discussions with the people behind Beran’s condition monitoring technology.

Beran Conference 2026 takes place on Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 July 2026 at Beran HQ in Torrington, North Devon, giving attendees a rare opportunity to step inside the business and see where Beran systems are designed, built, tested and supported.

Following the success of the 2024 Beran Conference at Chatsworth House, this year’s event takes a different approach. Rather than hosting the conference at an external venue, Beran is welcoming delegates into its own facilities for a more practical, hands-on and technical experience.

The free-to-attend event is designed for condition monitoring specialists, rotating machinery engineers, reliability professionals, plant operators and Beran users who want to explore current developments in vibration analysis, machinery diagnostics and plant reliability.

A closer look inside Beran HQ

One of the key features of this year’s conference is the opportunity to see Beran HQ first-hand. Delegates will have behind-the-scenes access to the teams and facilities involved in the development, assembly, testing and support of Beran’s condition monitoring systems.

The programme includes a guided factory tour, taking attendees through key areas of the business, including assembly, test areas, manufacturing procedures and in-house environmental testing.

This makes the event a valuable opportunity to understand not only the technology itself, but also the processes and people behind it.

Live demonstrations and practical insight

Across the two-day programme, attendees will take part in technical presentations, customer case studies and live demonstrations covering Beran hardware, software and diagnostic tools.

Demonstration sessions will include the PlantProtech™ 7600 PCMS, PlantProtech™ protection systems and PlantProtech™ Mobile, allowing delegates to see the systems in action and ask questions directly to the Beran team.

Sessions will also explore Beran software developments, system updates, cybersecurity considerations, data extraction, visualisation, alarms, reporting and future product roadmaps.

Helitune joins the programme

The 2026 event will also include input from Helitune, Beran’s sister company and specialist in rotor track and balance technology for the aerospace sector.

Helitune will be part of the demonstration programme, allowing attendees to see how rotor track and balance expertise connects with wider vibration monitoring, diagnostics and rotating machinery knowledge.

Bringing Beran and Helitune together adds another dimension to the event, with shared technical themes around vibration, measurement, balance and reliability.

Real-world technical case studies

Alongside the Beran-led sessions, the conference will feature presentations from invited speakers and Beran users across the power generation, utilities and condition monitoring sectors.

Topics include vibration diagnostics, rotating machinery behaviour, steam and gas turbine monitoring, emergency boiler feed pump pipework, oil whirl and oil whip instabilities, post-outage machinery issues and condition monitoring across critical generation assets.

These sessions are designed to be practical and relevant, with a focus on operational experience, lessons learned and useful insight that attendees can take back to their own sites.

Networking at The Instow Arms

The first day of the conference will close with an informal evening networking dinner at The Instow Arms in Instow.

Overlooking the North Devon estuary, the dinner will bring together attendees, presenters and the Beran team for relaxed conversation after a full day of technical sessions, demonstrations and discussion.

It is a chance to continue conversations from the day, meet other professionals from across the industry and spend time with the Beran team in a more informal setting.

A small, focused technical event

Beran Conference 2026 has been designed as a small, focused, in-person event, with limited attendee places available. The aim is to create space for open technical discussion, peer-to-peer learning and meaningful access to the speakers and the Beran team.

Please note: this is an in-person event only. Sessions will not be streamed online, and recordings will not be made available after the event.

Places are limited, and registration is essential.
