Rotating plant dynamics across critical generation assets from RWE Flexible Generation
We are pleased to confirm that Adam Shingles, Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer at RWE Flexible Generation, will be presenting at Beran Conference 2026 at Beran HQ in Torrington, North Devon, on 1 and 2 July 2026.
Adam is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with a decade of experience in engineering support and outage delivery in the power generation sector. At RWE Flexible Generation, he is responsible for Rotating Plant Dynamics across steam turbines, gas turbines and generators, working across some of the most technically demanding assets in the UK's flexible generation fleet.
He holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Presentation: Rotating Plant Dynamics Across Critical Generation Assets
Adam's session at Beran Conference 2026 will draw on RWE's experience of managing rotating plant dynamics across a portfolio of critical generation assets, with a focus on the engineering challenges and diagnostic approaches applied to steam turbines, gas turbines and generators in a flexible generation environment.
Full presentation details will be published shortly. It promises to be a technically rich session from an engineer with direct, hands-on experience of keeping complex rotating plant running reliably in the modern energy market.
