Piezoelectric Accelerometer A/20
The A/20 range is a robust piezoelectric charge accelerometer family designed for reliable vibration measurement across a wide range of test and monitoring applications, including higher-temperature environments. With welded titanium construction and Konic Shear® sensing technology, the A/20 variants provide stable measurements with reduced cross-axis effects and strong resistance to harsh operating conditions.
Description
The A/20 is a general-purpose piezoelectric charge output accelerometer designed for vibration analysis and shaker testing, with options for reliable operation in higher-temperature and harsh environments. Using DJB’s Konic Shear® sensing technology and a welded titanium construction, the A/20 range delivers stable performance with reduced long-term cross-axis error.

Design and construction
The A/20 range uses DJB’s unique Konic Shear® piezoelectric sensing element to support excellent measurement stability and reduced long-term cross-axis error. The family includes side-entry and top-entry tapped-base models with an all-welded titanium construction, plus a TC version featuring a hermetically sealed top-entry TNC connector. Welded internal connections across the range provide a robust sensor suited to harsh operating environments.
Relative freedom from strain-induced error helps reduce low-frequency measurement uncertainty.
