Decades of hands-on condition monitoring and diagnostics experience join the Beran Conference 2026 programme

We are pleased to confirm two further speakers for the Beran Conference 2026 at Beran HQ in Torrington, North Devon, on 1 and 2 July 2026: Neil Brinkworth, formerly of Uniper Technologies, and Josh Lovatt, Monitoring and Diagnostics Engineer at Cognitive Business.

Neil Brinkworth is a retired Condition Monitoring Engineer with extensive experience at Uniper Technologies, one of the UK's leading thermal power generation businesses. 

Over the course of a long career in power generation, Neil has built deep practical knowledge of condition monitoring, vibration analysis and machinery diagnostics across a fleet of complex rotating plant.

His perspective as an experienced practitioner, having worked at the sharp end of condition monitoring in a major power generation environment, will add a grounded and candid dimension to the Beran Conference 2026 programme. Full presentation details will be published shortly.

Josh Lovatt

Josh Lovatt is a Monitoring and Diagnostics Engineer at Cognitive Business, with over 14 years of experience in vibration monitoring, Advanced Pattern Recognition and maintenance optimisation across all sectors of power generation. 

Josh has extensive experience in both remote and onsite support, with a focus on enhancing plant performance through sophisticated diagnostic techniques.

Josh brings a depth of cross-sector experience that makes him well placed to speak to the wider challenges of condition monitoring in power generation, from the practical application of monitoring tools to the diagnostic interpretation of complex machinery behaviour. About the Beran Conference 2026 speaker programme

With these latest confirmations, the Beran Conference 2026 speaker programme now brings together practitioners from EDF Energy, Uniper, RWE Flexible Generation, SSE Thermal, SUEZ UK, In2ViBa, RITEC and Cognitive Business, alongside sessions from the Beran and CMTG team. It is a strong cross-section of experience from across the condition monitoring and power generation world, and we are looking forward to the technical discussions it will generate.

Beran Conference 2026 takes place on Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 July 2026 at Beran HQ in Torrington, North Devon. This free in-person event brings together condition monitoring specialists, rotating machinery engineers and Beran users for two days of technical presentations, live demonstrations, factory tours and direct access to the Beran team.

Places are limited, and registration is essential. Travel and accommodation are not included.
