Ultra Miniature Triaxial IEPE Accelerometer - AT/18
The AT/18 is an ultra-miniature triaxial IEPE (voltage output) accelerometer designed for vibration measurement where extremely low mass and high thermal stability are required. Using three independent shear sensing elements mounted orthogonally within a stainless steel block, it delivers rugged, repeatable triaxial data capture in demanding test environments.
Description
The AT/18 is an ultra-lightweight triaxial IEPE (voltage output) accelerometer designed for vibration measurement where extremely low sensor mass and thermal stability are critical. It comprises three independent voltage output piezoelectric sensing elements mounted orthogonally within a stainless steel block, supporting rugged and repeatable triaxial measurement.
This design outperforms single-element devices and uses high-temperature piezo-ceramics as standard to ensure stable performance. The AT/18 features an integral 1 m cable terminating in an industry-standard ¼-28 UNF plug, with extension cable assemblies available in any length and breakout to three BNC connectors. A high-temperature IEPE option is available to support operation up to 200°C.

Design and construction
The AT/18 is built around three independent shear sensing elements mounted orthogonally within a stainless steel housing. This configuration supports accurate triaxial measurement with reduced cross-axis effects, while maintaining a compact, low-mass form factor suitable for lightweight structures.
An integral cable simplifies installation, and optional extension assemblies with BNC breakout connectors support flexible integration with test and measurement systems.
