Fit For Nuclear (F4N)

Beran has been awarded Fit for Nuclear (F4N) status by the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) in March 2022.

Beran Instruments’ performance has been benchmarked against the standards demanded by the nuclear industry’s top tiers.  F4N approval follows on-site verification visits by an F4N assessor, as well as a review of project experience evidence within the civil nuclear field.

F4N is a unique service preparing UK manufacturing companies to bid for works in the civil nuclear supply chain. F4N allows companies to measure their operations against the standards required to supply the nuclear industry with new build, operations, and decommissioning and to take the necessary steps to close any gaps.

Beran Instruments’ achievement of F4N status demonstrates a commitment to providing products and services to the highest industry standards and a continued drive for business excellence.

Duncan Affleck, Global Sales Manager commented “Close collaboration with engineers and supply chain provides trust and confidence in our skills and abilities, accreditations such as F4N are important to us to support long-term business growth into the new build nuclear and existing nuclear facilities”.

Group QHSE Manager, Paul Howrihane commented:

Beran worked very hard to achieve approved F4N status and is also very proud to become  a member of this prestigious world-class centre of excellence. The membership will enable us not only to network with companies along the nuclear supply chain but to access training and quality programmes as well.
