Josh Lovatt is a highly skilled Monitoring & Diagnostics Engineer with over 14 years of experience specialising in condition monitoring, Advanced Pattern Recognition, and process improvement. 

Since joining Cognitive Business, Josh has been instrumental in providing both remote and onsite support to clients across all sectors of power generation. His expertise lies in vibration analysis, diagnosing complex machinery issues, and optimising maintenance processes to enhance plant performance.

Before joining Cognitive Business, Josh held technical roles at Uniper and E.ON UK, where he honed his skills in condition monitoring and diagnostics. As a BINDT ISO 18436 Category III Vibration Analyst, Josh is recognised for his ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights that drive process improvements.

At the Beran Conference 2024, Josh will present a case study demonstrating how the integration of online vibration data and advanced pattern recognition can deliver deeper insights into plant performance and enhance machinery diagnostics.

This free in-person event brings together condition monitoring specialists, rotating machinery engineers and Beran users for two days of technical presentations, live demonstrations, factory tours and direct access to the Beran team.
