About the course

Designed to introduce vibration and condition monitoring to non-practitioners to gain an understanding to help run and operate the plant safely and gain confidence when discussing plant issues with specialist vibration engineers.

Who should attend?

The course is designed for system engineers, mechanical engineers and operations staff who have a requirement to understand vibration condition monitoring as part of their role. This course is ideally suited to new starters, trainees and apprentices. No prior knowledge of vibration or condition monitoring theory is required.

Your trainer

This course will be delivered by Omoruyi Onobhamiukor, CEng MIMechE and Head of Asset Performance Management at Uniper.

Omoruyi is a mechanical engineer with experience working in the power industry.

Omoruyi is highly experienced in using tools and techniques to monitor powerplant asset condition and performance.  

Omoruyi is also an ISO and BSI vibration analysis and condition monitoring committee member.
