New low and high-force hammers expand the DJB IEPE impact hammer range
DJB Instruments has expanded its IEPE impact hammer range with two new models, filling key gaps for structural and modal testing requirements, from lightweight structural excitation through to high-impact force measurement.
- IH/01-50: 50 N range with a sensitivity of 100 mV/N
- IH/20: 20 kN range with a sensitivity of 0.25 mV/N
DJB now offers a complete IEPE impact hammer range comprising seven models, all designed for precise force measurement. Each hammer is supplied as a comprehensive kit including a selection of tips, a BNC-terminated cable and, for selected models, optional rear masses for increased impact flexibility.
DJB also offers a wide selection of compatible accelerometers and cables to ensure complete system integration for structural and modal analysis.
Our initial launch of the IEPE impact hammer range in 2012 marked the beginning of a new chapter for DJB. Since then, growing customer demand for more force options made expanding the range a natural next step.
