DJB launches tapped base A/123 and A/23 accelerometers

4 Jun 2024

Enhanced design offers flexible mounting and improved high-temperature performance

DJB Instruments has launched tapped base versions of its popular miniature monoaxial accelerometers, the A/123/TB (IEPE) and A/23/TB (PE charge), offering greater mounting flexibility with minimal changes to size or mass.

Versatile mounting without added bulk

Both models feature a 5-40 UNC tapped hole for compatibility with standard mounting studs, shared with DJB's AT/10/TB and AT/01/TB triaxials, streamlining setup across sensor types.

Built to last at up to 250°C

Machined in titanium with fully welded construction, these sensors deliver exceptional durability in demanding conditions. The maximum operating temperature has been raised to 250°C, expanding application potential in high-heat environments.

Konic Shear® technology

Both models are built on DJB's proprietary Konic Shear® technology, a unique radial design that dramatically reduces cross-axis errors and nearly eliminates base strain sensitivity.

The A/123 and A/23 are among our most trusted sensors. With increasing customer demand for tapped base options, enhancing these models was an obvious next step.
