DATS-P8012

A rugged, mobile 8- to 24-channel, 24-bit data acquisition system. Ideal as an entry-level system that can grow with you, or to add channels to an existing DATS-tetrad or DATS-hyper12.

  • Up to 300k samples/sec/channel at 24-bit
  • Stack units for higher channel counts
  • Supplied with DATS software

Description

The P8012 supports up to 24 high-speed analogue inputs plus two tachos. P8012's can be used alone or connected with Tetrad, Hyper12 or other P8012S for flexible channel configurations. The same input options for the DATS-tetrad can be used in a P8012. If you need high-precision measurement, then the DATS-P8012 is an ideal entry-level system that can be upgraded later.

The DATS-P8012 is a rugged, portable data acquisition system with up to 24 high-speed analogue inputs. It uses the same sensor input options as the DATS-tetrad, so you get the same measurement quality in a simpler, cost-effective package.

Ideal as an entry-level system, the DATS-P8012 can be upgraded later. It can also be used as a channel extender for an existing DATS-tetrad or DATS-hyper12, and your measurement modules can be reused as your system grows.

Key benefits

  • Quick, easy sensor set-up and fast reconfiguration between tests
  • Simple channel configuration with fast verification before each test
  • Fully integrated DATS software, suitable for new and experienced users
  • Built on decades of real-world noise and vibration measurement experience

Features

  • Channels: 4 to 24 analogue inputs per unit, with interconnected systems scaling to more than 1,000 channels
  • Sample rates: up to 800,000 samples per second per channel at 16-bit, or 300,000 samples per second per channel at 24-bit
  • Synchronisation: Prosync keeps every sample on every channel synchronised, even at high channel counts
  • Power: runs from mains or vehicle power
  • Connectivity: a single USB connection streams data continuously to your PC or laptop for storage and real-time display
  • Expansion: connect to other units or to a DATS-tetrad or DATS-hyper12

Configuration

The DATS-P8012 holds up to three measurement modules, chosen to suit your sensors:
