DATS measurement cards

DATS measurement cards let you build a DATS-tetrad, DATS-hyper12 or DATS-P8012 system around the measurements you need to make. Choose from general purpose, high-speed, high channel count, bridge, thermocouple, tacho and analog output cards, and combine them in a single chassis.

General purpose and high-speed cards

• 8X02 (4 channels + tacho, IEPE, direct, TEDS): a versatile general purpose card with synchronous parallel sampling at up to 400k samples/second/channel, AC or DC coupling, IEPE support and a dedicated tacho input. A large number of amplifier gain steps gives high-resolution, accurate data.
• 8X04 (4 channels + tacho, IEPE, direct, bridge, TEDS): everything the 8X02 offers, plus ¼, ½ and full bridge completion, internal calibration shunt resistors, selectable bridge resistance of 120, 350 or 1000Ω and programmable 5V or 10V transducer excitation.
• 8X52 (4 channels + tacho, IEPE, direct, TEDS): a high-speed version of the 8X02, with sample rates up to 800k samples/second/channel in 16-bit mode and 300k in 24-bit mode.
• 8X54 (4 channels + tacho, IEPE, direct, bridge, TEDS): a high-speed version of the 8X04, with the same 800k (16-bit) and 300k (24-bit) sample rates.

High channel count cards

• 8X12 (8 channels + tacho, IEPE, direct, TEDS): high-quality, repeatable 24-bit data at up to 100k samples/second/channel, with twice the channel density of the 8X02. A DATS-tetrad fitted with 8X12 cards supports up to 32 analog channels and two tacho channels, and native connectors avoid complex multipole wiring.
• 8X14 (8 channels + tacho, IEPE, direct, bridge, TEDS): the main features of the 8X12, plus bridge completion, calibration shunt resistors, selectable bridge resistance, input nulling, excitation sensing and programmable 5V or 10V excitation.

Specialist cards

• 8X08 (8 thermocouple channels): a universal connector for all popular thermocouple types, an integral cold junction reference and a typical accuracy of 0.5°C. Temperature data can be synchronised with your noise and vibration data.
• 8X20 (4-channel advanced tacho): accurate rotational speed measurement at multiple points in high-speed drivetrains, with 4ns pulse timing resolution, programmable thresholds and slope, pulse counting and time stamping. Ideal for torsional and angular vibration analysis.
• 8X24 (analog output or digital IO): replays captured or generated signals as analog voltages at up to 288k samples/second/channel, for applications such as modal analysis and single or multi-point shaker excitation. It can be supplied with 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs instead, for integration with other systems.

Compare the cards

All analog input cards offer 0.4 x sample rate effective bandwidth, more than 100dB anti-aliasing attenuation, ±0.1% FSD accuracy and input ranges from ±10mV to ±10V.
