The role

The Group is seeking to recruit an experienced and talented Business Systems Integrator to our Torrington office, situated in the spectacular and diverse region of North Devon. The area benefits from unique natural features such as the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty designated coastline and Exmoor National Park. The role will allow us to continue the implementation of, and provide excellent support for, the Epicor ERP system across the CMTG Group, enabling us to meet our ambitious product development and business growth plans.

You will be joining a multi-functional team within an engineering organisation with strong links across industry and academia, where a combination of a talented and dedicated workforce, robust engineering process, and use of the latest technologies combine to support our customers, operating within some of the most highly regulated Industrial and Aerospace sectors worldwide.

Purpose of post

As a Business Systems Integrator working at CMTG you will have the opportunity to help define and shape the business systems and processes within the Group. Additionally, the role supports the maintenance and integration of the Epicor ERP system across the Group and support users and train users in Epicor ERP.

Main responsibilities

  • To work with the team to integrate the Epicor ERP System across the Group and support the ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
  • To provide system integration training to process owners and process users with relevance to personnel at all levels within the organisation.
  • To liaise with the administrative function to prepare appropriate standard works and training material.
  • To ensure that the ERP system implementation enables ongoing compliance with the Group's IS09001, AS9100, EASA pt.21G, and EASA pt.145 quality system approvals.
  • To support and develop SharePoint as required throughout the organisation.
  • To ensure that business processes remain focused on ensuring delivery of customer Quality, Innovation, and Service.
  • To record, manage and develop system enhancement requests.
  • To define and implement appropriate policies and procedures.
  •  To contribute to and communicate accordingly the Business Systems strategy for the Group in order to support the realisation of its overall business strategy.

Skills and experience

  • Experience with Epicor ERP 10 or Epicor Kinetic.
  • Experience in writing Epicor BAQs and BMPs.
  • Experience in SharePoint implementation and development.
  • Experience in business systems design and integration.
  • Knowledge of Model-Based  Systems  Engineering  (MBSE) and the successful implementation of projects within a product development environment.
  • Problem Solving Skills include defining the problem, eliciting stakeholder needs, and developing concepts.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple task lists.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Power Bl, or Crystal.
  • Strong core IT skills including Windows Server, SQL Server & liS.
  • Experience in programming with .Net languages,  preferably C#.
  • Experience in writing SQL queries.
  • Use of Rest Services and JSON data formats.
  • Understanding manufacturing and product lifecycles and finance is a bonus.
