
Maintenance Data Processing Station - MDPS
SEI’s Maintenance Data Processing Station (MDPS) is an all-in-one ground support system designed for SEI’s AN/ASH-37(v) and AN/ASH-40 Flight Data Recorders. Ideal for quick “look-see” capabilities, the MDPS allows for fast downloading and storage of flight data onto diskette, as well as configuration of SDRS systems. It also provides optional .wav file decoding and playback for SEI’s CSRMU Cockpit Voice Recorder, all housed in a ruggedized, flight-line ready case for durability and portability.
Description
The Maintenance Data Processing Station (MDPS) is a complete ground support system for SEI's AN/ASH-37(v) and AN/ASH-40 family of Flight Data Recorders. It is used for downloading flight data to provide a "quick-look" capability, or to be saved to a diskette. The MDPS is also used to configure the SDRS system, and embed aircraft tail number/BUNO or other relevant data into the system's non-volatile memory. The MDPS supports .wav file decoding and playback for SEI's CSRMU Cockpit Voice Recorder.
