DJB main navigation

  • The DJB Main Navigation menu has been worked on, and the CMTG link has been removed from the main navigation menu for both Beran and Helitune sites. This was done to prevent traffic from clicking the CMTG link and navigating away from the brand site they are on. There are plenty of other ways for site visitors to discover and visit CMTG without this direct link in the brand-specific navigation.

Top utility navigation

The Top Utility Navigation (often referred to as the utility or top bar menu) currently includes Careers (which links to CMTG) and the phone number, which is hardcoded to the Torrington number. 

However, I would recommend that we change the phone number and revert to using the Contact button, which allows users to access the Contact page for the specific brand website they are visiting. This will provide a clearer and more accessible way for visitors to contact each individual brand.

DJB Brand priority

  • DJB is currently the priority brand for marketing support from Debs and Intergage. As such, the DJB Main Navigation is the primary focus at the moment. You can view the DJB Main Navigation here.

Mega menu development

  • A Mega Menu is in development, which will significantly enhance site navigation and improve the visitor journey through the website. The Mega Menu will allow each menu item to group content into three columns for easier access and navigation. Additionally, there will be the ability to add Calls to Action (CTAs) to menu items, allowing you to promote events, training courses, new products, or any other important news or updates directly through the navigation menu.

Drag and drop functionality

  • The DJB Main Navigation Menu also includes drag-and-drop functionality, allowing you to reorder menu items easily. Please note that when reorganising, you need to drag from the bottom up; dragging down will not reorder the items correctly.

DJB Main navigation menu overview

The DJB Main Navigation Menu consists of the following menu items, which can be edited, enabled, or disabled:

  • Products (Enabled)
  • Service and Support (Enabled)
  • News and Events (Enabled)
  • About (Enabled)
  • CMTG (Disabled – No longer active in the navigation)
  • Contact (Enabled)

How to edit the menu

  1. To make changes to the DJB Main Navigation, go to:

  2. From here, you can:
    • Enable or disable menu items.
    • Edit existing links to change the name, URL, or other properties.
    • Delete any menu items that are no longer needed.

Note about Semia

The Semia website pages have been built and are live, but the existing Semia website is still active. This means visitors to the Semia pages on the new site will be viewing the most up-to-date content, even though the older site is still live. We recommend monitoring the transition as content continues to be updated.
